Scottish Landscape Artist based in North East Scotland

I am a Scottish landscape artist with a great love for Scotland and the outdoors. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else it has the most amazing light and colour which is what my work is all about. 

In my art I like to experiment in my painting technique and style. I quite often use a variety of different media from acrylic paint, oil paint, fine sand, moulding wax, different foils, collages and cold wax. I sometimes don’t even use a paintbrush and prefer painting a sponge, knife, fingers you name it I give it try. Anything to try and recreate the beautiful light, colour and depth of landscape we have here in Scotland. 

I am spoilt for choice regarding inspiration, as where I live in North East Scotland I am surround by stunning hills, mountains and coastline.
